I was in New York City last week. I arrived on Wednesday, just in time to head over to Times Square to take part in a peace vigil which took place less than 24 hours after President Obama announced his plans to send 30,000 additional troops to Afghanistan.

I really wanted to see this but I don't think my MacBook with its 1 processor will run Silverlight -- which bars me from much of the content at AirAmerica and I contribute $$$. (My Mac is barely a year old, fyi, but the Silverlight download info refers to 2 processors.)
I was at another previously scheduled peace event but would like to know how things went at Time Square. Guess I will have to google.
Thanks for being so articulate for Peace. Now. Please!
Kate,
I'm so sorry you were not able to see the video! I will upload it to YouTube so that it's more easily accessible.
In the meantime, I'd suggest sending a note to tech support at Air America (aarsupport@airamerica.com) as they really want the new website to be user-friendly!
Check back later tonight.. It should be up by then!
Thanks for the kind compliments!
Nicole
Thanks for posting the YouTube video, Nicole! I'll pass it along.
FYI, I was in need of some peace-full commentary this afternoon and found that Silverlight refers to a DUO processor which I misinterpreted as two. Checking my computer description I found my newish Mac has that. Huzzah, I now have installed it and spent the last several hours listening to your Friday show (AND now I should be able to podcast it on iTunes as well). Like the snippets, too. Perfect to share with my peace friends. Thanks for being there and helping us keep our sanity in these trying times! (And for spurring folks on to action!)
Peace hugs from NYC!
